David Riffel Vice President
Born in Torrence Ca. Raised in Barstow Ca. Graduated Barstow High School. Joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters local 1478 Redondo Beach Ca. Attended Long Beach City College for four year Carpenters Apprentice Program and received his Journeyman's Card. Started his first year as a Framer - second third and forth year as a finish carpenter. The next five years spent in business with his Uncle Harkens Construction Inc. Most of their work was in custom remodeling with some new housing projects. He was instrumental in starting A Color Carpet Company Inc. and then the next decade learning Excavation - Concrete - Plumbing - Electrical - Masonry - Painting. Most of the General contractors at that time did all phases of construction themselves in the residential housing. David has been fortunate through the years to have erected several Timber Frame houses, a nice blend of new and old technology's. He likes newer technology of building houses, for instance SIP panel walls and roofs, which is very energy efficient. David moved to Northern Nevada in the early 90's and started working in Tahoe as a carpenter on a large condominium complex called Bitterbrush using his licensing and then became general contractor under his company Cornerstone which included licensing for both Nevada and California to meet the needs of the entire Lake Tahoe vicinity until 2005 when development slowed. After 2005 he became superintendent for Incline Builders as well as starting Hawk Construction where he built many high end custom homes in and around the Tahoe basin. ANI Building Solutions is the next obvious step in his successful career in bringing fine home construction to both Northern Nevada and Northern California.
Born and raised in Long Beach, California where he graduated from Wilson high school. After receiving an A.A. degree from Long Beach City College, he completed his studies at Long Beach State University where he received a B.A. degree in Business Administration. He worked as a carpenter while putting himself through college and decided to remain in the construction industry after graduation.
Barry grew up in the world of production framing on multi-unit condominium apartment buildings and tract homes. Within six years, he was a foreman managing fifty employees. In the 1990's Barry was looking for a change and moved to Lake Tahoe to focus on high-end custom home building. When the local contractor, whom Mark Reynolds and Barry Lease were running projects for, unexpectedly passed away, they decided to create a new business through the purchase of his assets and retention of his employees. Barry was named the "Builder of the Year" for 2011 by the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT).
Born and raised in Southern California, his grandfather owned DeJong's True Value Hardware and Appliances, a tight family run business, and where he learned, at a very young age, all aspects of home improvement. The retired professionals and knowledgeable family, that ran the various departments, taught him their trades which then became the catalyst for his career. Moving on, Scott attended college at the Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego earning a degree in Business. Relocating his family to Northern Nevada in the early 90's and later finding a niche in the construction profession, Scott continued to find ways to use his knowledge and experience.
Seeing the need for contractors, working with investors flipping properties in the distressed foreclosure market, Scott continued on by bringing these properties to market.
With the changes in real estate over the years, it became evident that pooling his resources with that of like minded individuals, would increase market presence bringing a quality product to those home owners seeking to build, remodel or flip to sell. Scott is very excited to see what the future will bring and looks forward to helping you realize your dreams.
